A Give Away and a Gift

First I want to direct you over to WonderINK for a great wood print give away!  Go to
http://lizseelye.blogspot.com/ to this link: //lizseelye.blogspot.com/2010/04/blog-contest.html
Liz is an illustrator and is giving away a print.  I actually own one of these prints and have it framed between two pieces of glass and it is lovely to look at.

Second I wanted to show you a gift I received this past week from Donna at
http://brynwoodneedleworks.blogspot.com/, she had a blog birthday celebration and I won one of the gifts.  It is an awesome bookmark with the Mad Hatter on it.

The give away was Alice in Wonderland themed.  I always have a book that I am reading if not two with a stack backed up to read.  As much as I would love to keep this for myself I am going to gift it to my oldest daughter who is an avid Alice everything fan.  Now I am going to admit this same daughter is also the artist of the above mentioned print give away at WonderINK so go ahead check out what she is offering and let her know Mom has something for her next time we get together.  But be sure to link up for the art work, you will not be disappointed if you win!  I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend!  We have, there has been a birthday party I will post about later and some wonderful weather.

Talented daughter, did she get her inspiration from mom? You both are such artists! Hope you had fun at the birthday part! I am doing better, we went and took photos of wildflowers, will be posting later today, am watching the Masters!

So glad you'll gift the bookmark to your daughter who loves Alice! I'll go check your link to see her artwork, too!
Thanks again for visiting Brynwood!

Thank you for the link-up and the bookmark!! If your name ends up getting pulled out of the hat I'll let you pull something else out of the pile of art I have around here. Oooor, pick out something from the new woodblock prints I'm getting ready to produce.

Love ya!! <3

NICE drawing!

Alice in Wonderland was little bit scary to me when I was a kid.
