Vintage Christmas Monday

I am joining the party at Anything Goes Here hosted by Joan on Monday. I bought this silver Christmas tree at a Christmas clearance sale a few years ago. It certainly has that vintage look although it was new. I have it sitting in my craft/sewing room and initially was only going to put vintage ornaments on it. But I collect things slowly so I have had to fill in with new ornaments that have the vintage look.

Here is a real vintage tree topper and some old ornaments that I have collected over the years.

The Raggedy Andy ornament was on my mother's tree when I was a child. There was a set of six I believe but this is the only one left. They were my favorite to hang on the tree. Thanks for stopping in and don't forget to go on over to anything goes here and check out the what the rest of the party goers have to show off. Here is the link that you need to go to:

What a wonderful tree and ornaments. I especially like the Raggedy Ann and the blue stripped one. My Grandmother used to make the most fabulous Raggedy Ann dolls and I think of her every time I see one. Her 101st birthday would be this week, but she went to be with the Lord in 1992.

Have a fantastic day,
Lynn

The tree is adorable and I have the same Santa ornament! It's fun to see what everyone has and how they display their goodies. Judi

Brenda, I have this same tree and it is in my craft room! Not decorated as beautifully as yours, but certainly another connection between us!
Thanks for the "Rustic Hens"! I love it and will submit it in the name hat next month!!!
Love your special ornaments-don't we all have at least one that brings back all those memories of the past? Beautiful!
Merry Christmas!

My mom had ornaments like that. I don't know what happened to them after she passed away, but I'm glad to have seen your pictures, it really takes me back.

Your tree is absolutely precious!

What I love most about the vintage ornaments is that they take me back in time and each one holds a story with it.
