Glitter, Glitter Everywhere

I expect everyone is done or tired of Christmas crafts but I had a couple I needed to finish up so I could pack them away with everything else.  So here is what I finished up yesterday evening.
I started out with these unfinished wooden words I got a Joann Fabrics.

Then I painted them a metalic silver with some acrylic paint I already had.  Then I added Martha's glitter and some vintage look wired garland and some bells.

I also painted a little cardboard church that I got at Michaels and glittered it with Martha's glitter.

My middle daughter found these branches on her walks with her dog and put eye type hooks in the top and glittered them.  She made quite a few so I got a couple.  If you click on the pictures you can see better  what the church looks like. That is it for the Christmas crafts this year.  I'm linking up with DIY Day at A Soft Place to Land, so go check out all the other great creative things everyone is sharing this week.  And thanks for stopping by!

I little sparkle adds soooo much! Love the church, in one of my summer blogs we took pics of a little white church and yours reminds me of it! What a clever idea about the sticks, my pre-ker's dipped small pine cones that I got at the farm into melted wax and then we sprinkled them all over with the same color of glitter, they are beautiful!

Wow, your little word hangers turned out wonderful, The paint and glitter looks really gorgeous, and of course I love that little church. Love the color of it. I'm hoping to have some time to "create" soon, because I really enjoy it so much!
Thanks for sharing these photos. I need to be inspired!

I can't tell you how many times I was in Michaels and picked up the glitter, then put it back!!!! It was beautiful, but what would I do with it???? NOW I KNOW!!!!
Shoot!!!!

Everything looks so beautiful! I especially love the church! I have a few of the small ones, but would really like to start aquiring some of the bigger houses, church, etc.
Just what I need!!!

Hope you have a wonderful New Year!!
