When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would have not a single bit of talent left and could say. "I used everything You gave me." Erma Bombeck

As the title says I am catching up. I have been trying to catch up with the SAL's that I am participating in this year. The first is May's block for the Raspberry Rabbits quilt along.
I also have been working on the Penny Rug SAL over at The House on the Side of the Hill.
This project I am far behind on. I have skipped some objects to work on the pieces that are intriguing to me. So I will have to fill in the blank spots and catch up soon. I used vintage red buttons that I picked up from the flea market. There is a little bird that sits on the top of the tree, that is the next step I am going to work on.
If you are interested in playing catch up along with me, visit these two sites and join in the fun!
Have a great evening! Blessings from our home in the woods.
I am a mother of 3 daughters and grandmother of 7, 5 boys and 2 girls. I love to sew, paint, garden and enjoy many different crafts. Ladybug is actually my Scottie's name and she gives my hubs and I many hours of pleasure. I dream up many ideas of which a few I manage to make happen. My husband is very talented and has a few hobbies of his own so he puts up with my many hobbies and the mess they leave behind. I cannot say this blog is about anything in particular except our love of home, family and friends with a few interesting things sprinkled in here and there.
