What I've Been Up To

I know it has been a while since I have told you all what I have been up to.  I think tonight I will mainly just post some pictures and you will understand that I have just been living life as we all have to and need to.  I always have good intentions of posting more often and sometimes do, but most often I am a once or twice a week poster and sometimes less.  Want to thank you now for coming by and for putting up with this post of pictures.  Hopefully I will have something of substance soon.  In the mean time this is what I have been doing.
Tomatoes from our garden.
Salsa put away in the downstairs storage room.
Tomato sauce for pasta.
Peaches.
Dehydrated tomatoes and hot peppers.
Worked a lot on this project over Labor Day weekend while our power was out.
Still hand sewing the binding on this quilt.
Spending Time with the Grands
 Gramps giving a golf lesson.
Lost first tooth.
First week of school.
As you can see, I have been busy with family and projects.  I have not forgotten about you friends,  I think about you all often.  Tell me what has been happening in your lives, I hope it has been as full as mine.  Blessings!

Looks like you have been very busy. All the canned vegetables and fruit looks great. I did manage to put some fresh corn and tomatoes in the freezer this summer and also some peaches we bought from local farmer.
We will be headed to Dallas area for grandson's football game and granddaughter's softball game in a few weeks. Also their birthday.
I have been shopping for birthday gifts. They are twins and will be 8 yrs. old.
Look forward to your posts.
Have a good weekend.

I have dehydrated peppers but not tomatoes. Is it difficult to do them? How do you store them? In oil or just dried in a jar? One last question, how do you use them?
