Project Finished and the Feathered Ladies

Hello friends!  Well another week has past and I thought I had better take a few minutes to share a little of this bloggers life in the past week.  And I mean little.  I finished a project that I started last week and shared with you here.  I have a few crocheted pillow patterns stashed away to try but this one I found in a book I got from the library.  I am very happy with the way it turned out.

 Now, do you ever decide you want to make a color scheme change in a room where the furniture is getting very old and worn and start making and buying things in the colors you want to use?  This chair is not in the room I made this pillow for.  But it was the only thing in the house that the colors would not clash with.  I have bought fabric for a throw in similar colors and have quite a few paint chips that I am carrying around also.   I think the walls will be green.   Now what will I do if I do not find a couch and a couple of chairs that work with what I sew, crochet and paint?  Is that called putting the wagon before the horse?  I always get those old sayings wrong.

The feathered ladies have been out and about.  The fox has not shown his face for a while now, which makes us very happy!

Belly up or would that be tails up?!!
