After I got tired and my feet got cold, my sewing room is not real warm in the winter, I spent some time in my chair upstairs picking out some threads for the center block of the quilt I am finishing off that I shared here.
I was able to stitch around one spool before I was ready to head for my bed.
I hope everyone had a great evening and was able to accomplish what they set out to do. I am off to visit some of the other participants.
Blessing from our home in the woods!

This is a beautiful block
Sounds like a good idea to go down to the warm and stitch.
Love your cotton reel centre block, pretty colours you're using :) Barb.
Hi Brenda, Thank you for stopping over and commenting on the crochet hooded shawl. You can go to the Ravelry account on my side bar and get particulars. It took me a couple of months to complete. I "usually" only have one thing on the hook at a time, there was an error in the pattern and I frogged until I contacted some one at Maggies and got help, they were going to update the errors. The pattern was written for an intermediate or experienced crocheter, but even then the directions as I had them were not very well written, I hope they fixed it. It is a lovely garment, quite heavy and good for chilly days for sure. It really is pretty, and if I ever did another it would be in Cranberry. I hope this helps.
Love the fabrics you are using in your piecing and also love the spool block - I've saved that design too and would love to sew it up one day :-)
I'm swooning over all the beautiful stitching - those little blocks are wonderful!!!
Your block is going to be interesting, love the spool block too.
Love the stitchery and the blocks. See you next FNWF
Wow! Just read your last couple of posts. You are VERY busy. I love all of the color combinations you are using. The quilt wall idea is going to be nice. I will probably regret not doing the CAL's but I really need to finish WIPs. I'm only doing little things in between the WIP's when I need something new. Like dishcloths!
Love watching your progress.

I'm loving your spools! They are super cute. Where is that pattern from? Hope you have not been too snowed in.
Nice blocks and pretty spools. My sewing room is cold too. I got a floor heater and that works good. My cat loves it too.
Your quilting sure is pretty and thanks so much for your visit today and lovely comment on my tea cup cozy I crocheted.
