I have been stitching in the evenings and these have been piling up waiting for the finished projects to happen. Even the fabrics that they are laying on top of have recently been cut for a gift that needs finished. These were the items that were on my cutting table this past Saturday evening. As of Monday I finished the August and September blocks for the Raspberry Rabbit QAL.
Love it!
Also in the pile is a piece of fabric with three stitching's that will be added to the following Hexies.
My best friend and I are sharing a charm pack for this project that we started a couple of weekends ago when I went down for a girls night out with a day of shopping to follow. We live over a hour apart so we really cannot work on our projects together like we would like. But it was great fun to start it together. I picked up the little vintage train case in the background from a re-sale shop a few months ago and have been using it for current hand stitching projects. I keep a hoop, needles, threads and what ever else I might need for the project I am working on in it. This works great because I can just gather it all up and take it with me. Here is what the inside looks like.
Have you seen all the cute retro suitcases and train cases on Pinterest that have been finished off so cute inside for sewing and crafts? Well that is my plan. Need some cuteness inside this case. As you can see the mirror is missing. One of the stitching's from the top picture is going to go in that spot.
I hope you are all having a great week so far.
Blessing from our home in the woods!
