Waiting and Waiting

And waiting until finally a week and a half ago this happened:
Just cut them off yesterday, after all that waiting I would have loved for them to stick around a little longer.  They were certainly a cheery spot in my house for the time they lasted though.  I hope you are all having a wonderful week!

    Love them! I gave each of my teacher friends paperwhites and they should be blooming really soon! Hope you are doing o.k. and having a good week.

    Beautiful! I've been buying flowers at the grocery. I need that pick me up in the winter months.

    So beautiful. I love that plant so much. The flowers are always so pretty to me. Part of me wishes that I would not have the black thumbs of death to any plant because of things like that.
    They must have been great to have when they bloomed. A wonderful splash of color in the gray days.
