I'm Late, I'm Late for a Very Important Date!

Do not know what I was thinking.  Actually I was thinking it is Wednesday and I forgot that we had one more week to post to the Alphabe-Thursday meme.  This week is Alphabet Soup and we can post what ever we want. I was not prepared.  I was not thinking about a post because last week was the letter Z.  You know like Z end?  So when in doubt what is a grandmother to do but show pictures of her grandchildren!  Without much ado G is for Grandchildren.  We have two groups of them.  There are two granddaughters in one family and four grandsons in the other.  We have had each group for a weekend this summer and the girlies came over to play with the boys for a while when they were visiting.  Here come the pictures!  There are many because I take many and have a hard time picking which ones to share.
We spent some time at the little park in our small town.
The girls brought their balls and bats and grandpa gave them some lessons.
I think Ladybug was hoping to get a hold of the ball.
We do not have a pool but we do have sprinklers.  And it was hot both weekends!
I am not sure what this next picture was about.  Maybe a little time out.  Sweet though.
Some swinging in the tree swing.
Bug with her favorite boy.
Some sandbox fun!
Everyone can always count on a wagon ride behind grandpa's tractor.
The end of a long weekend for our littlest and Ladybug.  They will both be two, boy in August and Bug in November.

Of course there were trips to the ice cream shop and Popsicles in the back yard. The tubs of toys were out and the DVD was playing Disney movies both weekends.  Gramps and I love it and we are always worn out and feel like we need a day off after everyone goes home.

Have a great time checking out the other Alphabet Soup posts!  Blessings!

  1. Looks like everyone had a great time, I guess you had to take a nap and rest up. You and hubs are making such great memories. Hope you have a great weekend. We are going to the Mennenite farm and I am getting veggies to make salsa and cucumber salad.

  12. It is always good to see kids running and playing. The sprinkler was always my personal favorite in the summer. And just ask my friends I am not a person who likes getting wet. Do not like it. But I still had tons of fun. Glad to see memories can be made and I am sure, as I keep my own, memories have been made.

  13. How wonderful to be blessed with grandchildren....funny, though, that one side has the girls, the other the boys! One of my three adult sons married May 7th so I'm hoping that I'll have a grandchild before too long....after all, I'm 65 so time's a wasting!
