It has been a blooming hot week, even here in Michigan it has been in the 90's. I love the heat, but I have to admit I have wanted to stay inside and read a good book. Only this week and next left to participate in Alphabe-Thursday. So stay as cool as possible and check out the other Y posts over at Jenny Matlock's.

I got yellow too! Lots of yellow. Because my first round of crackerjack marigold got hailed out the night after I planted them. So I bought another flat of them and by the time I got them planted I saw that the original ones survived with tiny new growth at the bottoms. So double the pleasure. I can't tell one bunch from the other now!
Lovely yellow flowers. I know being from Ohio we've had that same hot weather. It did cool down somewhat today but is still humid as all get out. Great Y post.
